Hang the Chinese God of Wealth Hanging where the room can see it, from a blossom branch at the entrance or the corner of the head table, and Lunar New Year feels welcomed in. It is for hosts, restaurants and businesses planning a Lunar New Year banquet or office celebration who want a small, cheerful wish for prosperity in the styling.
A Red Tassel and a Cheerful Caishen Figure
A red cord threaded with red and gold beads carries a small, smiling figure of the God of Wealth in a red robe and gold trimmed hat, holding a gold charm. Below him, a gold bead tops a long red tassel. Red and gold are the colours of luck and prosperity at Lunar New Year, so it sits right at home beside lanterns and red envelopes.
At 10cm high it is a detail piece, made for close up spots rather than filling a room: a branch, a doorway, a gift table or a reception desk.
