Teddy Bear Picnic Theme for Willow’s 2nd Birthday
Even when her party guests were limited, nothing could stop the celebration of Willow’s 2nd birthday from being a Teddy Bear’s Picnic to remember. Apparently guest numbers were only limited to humans as teddy bears played across the lawn and even on top of the cake!
Watch out for the trail of super-sized picnic ants who no one remembered inviting, but who ever does?
This day was created for both young and old but the 1.2m light up 2 from Light Up Letters reminded everyone what all the celebration was for…a special little girl with curls in her hair, a teddy bear shirt, dressed in gingham with a smile that lit up the room.
Guests were encouraged to take one of the exquisitely decorated teddy bear, number 2 or bloomer themed cookies created by Little Sweet Treats GCÂ or the delightful mixed bag of tiny teddies packaged for a hungry bear or guest's ride home.
Who could forget the cake, pulling together the theme of the day with very special bears crafted to represent Willow’s family. Her big brother, Bailey Bear was even hanging off the cake – showing her just how big and strong he is.
This adorable Teddy Bear’s Picnic was brought to life by oversized giant games , red and white check gingham overlays and plenty of teddy bears.
Guests were welcomed by a range of entertainment areas including themed gingham blankets spread across the lawn, a toddler swing, a sidewalk chalk station and endless giggles and dancing ensued when the picnic was filled with iridescent bubbles.
The table featured a giant oversized Teddy Bear from Next Event keeping watch over all the delicious treats with a great big heart. The finger food was perfect for guests mingling and playing games and great setting for a picnic party with the oversized teddy bears.
The Partydrop Big Garden 3B from Backdrops Fantastic Australia was placed behind the table like a scene out of a movie - guests were transported to a world of oversizes daisies and daffodils, while a beautiful monarch butterfly flew overhead and kept an eye on that pesky spider hanging off the blades of grass!
