In order for events to return safely it is imperative that every participant in an event do their part to be Covid Safe. This commitment is required from our team at Events Fantastic as the Event Production and Decor Supplier, you as the Event Organiser or Venue and your Event Attendees. By taking a holistic approach and commitment by everyone involved to create Covid Safe Events we can help insure a return to the events we love.
OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU
Events Fantastic has established a safe workspace policy that follows the best practices listed in this document and any additional requests from QLD Health or relevant government authority to minimise the risk of spreading COVID-19. Our team have all completed the COVID-19 accreditation for Safe For Dining In (micro credential) by TAFE QLD.
COMMON AREA AND HIRE PRODUCT CLEANING:
We are continually monitoring our cleaning in all common areas.
Thorough cleaning of all rental products prior to delivery, on site and upon return to warehouse with appropriate disinfectant and sanitizing products.
REGISTRATION AND VISITOR MANAGEMENT:
Maintaining a visitor register for all visitors and suppliers. We are utilising an online system to capture all visitor and staff arrival and departures.
Regular monitoring of foot traffic, entry and exit points will be performed, with alterations to directional traffic flow clearly marked.
HAND SANITISER STATIONS:
Alcohol-based hand sanitisers are available throughout the office, warehouse and common areas including entry and departure points to ensure staff and visitors adhere to hygiene guidelines.
COVID-19 HEALTH MANAGEMENT:
We ask all clients and guests if they have been asked to self-isolate or are showing flu-like symptoms, to not attend or visit our warehouse.
MINIMAL PHYSICAL CONTACT:
No physical greetings or shaking of hands.
Monitoring employee, supplier and visitor temperatures upon arrival.
Encouraging all visitors to have the COVIDSafe App installed on their device(s).
YOUR COMMITMENT AS THE VENUE OR EVENT ORGANISER
In order to execute a successful event, as an event organiser, you will need to have your own COVID-19 Safety Management plan in place. Events Fantastic will work with you to ensure we both meet the requirements set out by Federal and State governments as well as the QLD Health Authority. Running events in today’s environment is different to past events. Distancing rules will apply and both yourself (as the organiser/venue) and Events Fantastic need to work together to deliver a successful event.
GUEST ATTENDANCE REGISTER:
You must keep a record of guests who attend, including full name and mobile number or email address. Make sure you also keep a record of additional attendees (including suppliers, like photographers, entertainers, etc). This record needs to be shared with Events Fantastic and must be kept (by both parties) for 28 days after the event. If a guest at your event is diagnosed with COVID-19, QLD Health will request this from you (as the organiser/venue) and us (as the supplier) to assist with contact tracing.
If you have guests who are at high-risk of developing COVID-19 complications
such as elderly staff or people with conditions affecting their immunity, communicate with them ahead of time and discuss their attendance at the event.
COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR GUESTS:
Communicate (regularly) with your students that if they are unwell before or on the day, or are showing symptoms, they are to not attend the event and seek medical advice immediately.
All guests must be seated during food service; consider seating guests from
the same household next to each other to allow best fit for all your guests.
Ensure physical distancing by keeping a distance of at least 1.5m between people.
Encourage all guests to frequently wash their hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water or by using an alcohol-based hand sanitiser and to practice good hygiene.
Be aware of how to spot COVID-19 symptoms (fever, cough, sore throat and shortness of breath) and make sure guests do not attend if they are unwell.
YOUR GUESTS COMMITMENT TO THE EVENT
Your Guests have a part to play in the success of your event, by following COVID-19 safety practices. We strongly urge you to communicate these best practices with all of your intended guests to ensure that together, we can deliver a successful event experience in a safe manner for all involved.
FAMILIARISE THEMSELVES WITH THE SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19.
PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING; PARTICULARLY IN CLOSE SPACES SUCH AS TOILETS, LIFTS AND LOBBIES
WASHING THEIR HANDS OFTEN WITH SOAP AND USING AN ALCOHOL-BASED HAND SANITISER.
AVOID HANDSHAKES AND PHYSICAL GREETINGS.
COVERING THEIR MOUTH WHILE COUGHING AND SNEEZING.
IF UNWELL, THEY SHOULD STAY HOME AND SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION IMMEDIATELY IF SHOWING ANY OF THE VIRAL SYMPTOMS.
KEEPING THEIR HANDS AWAY FROM EYES, NOSE AND MOUTH TO PREVENT GERMS FROM SPREADING.
DISINFECTING WORK SPACES/SURFACES REGULARLY.
