In black it sits quietly against a black skirt or a dark drape, and under stage light it reads as a clean line rather than a barrier. It comes off as easily as it goes on, so the open edges stay open for the band and the closed edges stay closed.
At 2.44m wide it matches the long edge of a full stage piece, so a run of rails closes a stage edge section by section with no gaps between them.
