Cut the corners off a stage and the front row suddenly has room to breathe. The Triangle Stage Deck 1.22m x 1.22m is the half square section that does it, and the same piece fills the angled gap when a stage has to follow a curved wall or a diagonal room. It is for event managers, stylists and venue teams who need a stage shape the standard decks cannot make on their own.
Corner Stage Deck Hire That Follows the Room
Like the rest of our deck system it has a black anti slip top in a silver aluminium frame on three legs, so it locks to a square deck along either straight edge and sits at the same height. With a black skirt around the front, the angled corner reads as part of the design rather than a gap, and a wash of colour across the stage runs straight over it.
Its straight sides are 1.22m each, half the size of the large triangle, so it rounds off the corner of a small stage, finishes a diagonal edge where a full triangle would overhang, and squares off a stage that has been set at an angle across a room.
Where the Small Triangle Fits
Use it as a:
- Chamfered corner on a DJ or band stage
- Fill piece where a stage meets a curved wall
- Diagonal end on a narrow runway
- Angled wing either side of a lectern platform
- Corner of a stage set diagonally across a marquee
Build a Marquee Stage on the Diagonal
Say the brief is a wedding band in a marquee with the stage set across one corner. Build the platform from Stage Piece 2.44m x 1.22m sections on Stage Legs 600mm to 1000mm, fit a Triangle Stage Deck 1.22m x 1.22m at each end so the front runs straight across the corner, and wrap it in the White Velveteen Portable Stage Skirt. Lay the White Shiny Dance Floor in front and hang the White Chiffon Scallop Drape behind the band.
From there we can dress the whole marquee. We hire event staging, stage hire, dance floors, drapes and curtains and event lighting, and our wedding event theme shows a full reception put together.

Answers to your questions
How big is the Triangle Stage Deck 1.22m x 1.22m?
Its two straight sides are 1.22m each, so it is exactly half of a square 1.22m deck.
Does it sit at the same height as the other decks?
Yes. It goes on the same legs and locks to the neighbouring sections, so the stage is one level surface.
When would I use this instead of the large triangle?
When the corner is small or the stage is narrow. The Triangle Stage Deck 2.44m x 1.22m is the piece for a wide thrust or a long diagonal.
Can the skirt go around the angled edge?
Yes. Our stage skirts run around any edge the deck makes, and our crew fits them so the corner reads as one line.
Will you set it up?
Yes. Our crew delivers, builds and levels the stage, then packs it down after your event.
