Every guest who is called to the stage should be able to get there, and the Stage Ramp 6m x 1.0m is the ramp that makes a raised stage open to a wheelchair, a walking frame or a pram as well as the band's road cases. It is for conference organisers, award night planners and venues who want access built into the stage rather than added at the last minute.
Stage Access Ramp Hire With a Gentle Slope
The ramp is built from the same black anti slip decks and silver frame as the stage, carried on legs that step down along its length, so it reads as part of the stage and not a bolt on. Dressed with a black skirt along its open side it disappears into the stage line, and the anti slip surface stays sure underfoot for anyone walking it in heels.
At 6m long and 1.0m wide the slope stays gentle for a typical presentation stage height, and the width gives a wheelchair or a trolley a clear run with room either side. The 1.22m wide ramp is the one for a stage that takes heavier equipment. Tell us your stage height when you book and our crew sets the gradient to suit it.
Where a Stage Ramp Is Needed
Use it as a:
- Wheelchair access to an awards or graduation stage
- Roll on access for a grand piano or drum kit
- Trolley run for AV cases onto a conference stage
- Pram and walking frame access at a community event
- Back of stage route for crew during a changeover
Build an Accessible Awards Stage
Say the brief is an awards night where every winner walks, wheels or is helped onto the stage. Build the platform from Stage Piece 2.44m x 1.22m sections on Stage Legs 600mm to 1000mm, run the Stage Ramp 6m x 1.0m up one side with the Black Poly Stage Skirt along its open edge, and set the Illuminated LED Tivoli Stage Stairs at the front for everyone else. Stand the Perspex Lectern Large at centre and lay the Red Carpet Runner 1.2m x 9m from the tables to the foot of the ramp.
We build the whole stage and the room around it. Our event staging and stage hire ranges cover decks, legs, steps and rails, and we hire red carpet and bollards, event lighting and corporate stage sets. The gala and awards event theme shows an awards room put together.

Answers to your questions
How long is the Stage Ramp 6m x 1.0m?
It is 6m long and 1.0m wide, which keeps the slope gentle for a standard presentation stage.
Does it suit a wheelchair?
Yes, that is what it is for. Tell us your stage height when you book and our crew sets the ramp so the gradient suits it.
Does it have a hand rail?
The ramp itself is the deck. Our Stage Safety Hand Rails fit along the open edge, so ask for them with the ramp if you need one.
Can the skirt run along the ramp?
Yes. A black skirt runs along the open side so the ramp reads as part of the stage.
Will you set it up?
Yes. Our crew delivers, builds and levels the stage, then packs it down after your event.
