This is chunky three strand twisted rope in a natural sandy tone, with a slightly hairy fibre finish that looks weathered and well handled, like rope from a working wharf. It sits comfortably with timber, hessian, navy and white, and it softens the hard edges of a bar or stage. At 3cm thick it reads clearly from across the room, and the 40m length is enough to swag a long bar, edge an aisle or wrap several posts. It arrives wound on a timber cable reel, which makes a good looking prop in its own right.
