Scrabble

Peg the Scrabble mat out on the lawn and a garden party gains a quieter corner: a slower, sociable game that suits every age, from grandparents to teenagers. It is for garden weddings, long lunches, corporate family days and backyard birthdays that want something to do between drinks and speeches.

Lawn Game Hire With a Classic Word Game

This is the word game everyone knows, played big. The fabric mat carries the familiar grid with its coloured bonus squares in soft pink, red and blue, and the letters are chunky wooden tiles that stand in wooden racks. The natural timber and pale mat sit comfortably with relaxed garden styling, beside rattan, greenery and a timber bar. The set comes with the board mat, a full set of wooden letter tiles, four wooden tile racks, pegs to hold the mat on the grass and a carry bag, so up to four players or teams can play. Tell us where it's going, and we'll plan the games area with you.

Made for Garden Weddings, Family Days and Long Lunches

Use it as a:

• Lawn game between the ceremony and reception at a garden wedding
• Activity station at a corporate family day or staff picnic
• Relaxed game at a long lunch or garden party
• Feature for a library, school or literacy week event
• Entertainment at a backyard birthday or engagement party

Build a Lawn Games Garden Around It

Say the brief is a garden wedding with a long cocktail hour on the lawn. Peg the Scrabble mat out near the bar and build a games garden around it: Giant Jenga for a bit of suspense, Giant Connect Four and Giant Noughts and Crosses for quick rounds, and Championship Croquet on the open grass. A quoits game and a bean bag toss suit younger guests, and Giant Chess gives the strategists a longer game.

Games, Props and the Rest of the Day

Our lawn games run from quick tossing games to long strategy games, and our event props and party hire range round out the day. Our big garden event theme and great outdoors event theme show how a lawn games area fits into a styled event. Tell us your venue and guest numbers, and our team will put the day together.
